Open the Salazar Archive
In anticipation of the Salazar stamp and in the interest of documenting Salazar's story, The Center for Media, Democracy & Policy was selected by the Salazar family to archive his papers and related documents. The Center for MDP also was asked to expand the stamp proposal to include other Latinos in the media and to further research on other Latinos that should be proposed for consideration. The Center for MDP developed a history project on Salazar to seek funding for traveling an exhibit and a book based on the archive.
